ABSTRACT

Objective:To construct a preoperative rehabilitation program for gastric cancer patients, aiming to provide scientific and reasonable preoperative guidance for gastric cancer patients.Methods:On the basis of literature research and expert group meeting, the first draft of the preoperative rehabilitation program for gastric cancer patients was constructed. From October 2021 to January 2022, the Delphi method was used to conduct 2 rounds of expert letter inquiries to 16 experts in related fields from 11 hospitals in Jiangsu Province, and the entries were revised according to the experts′ inquiries.Results:In the two rounds of expert correspondence, the positive coefficients of experts were 88.89% and 100.00%, and the authority coefficients of experts were both 0.88. The coordination coefficients of the items in the two rounds of inquiry were 0.279 and 0.290, respectively. The final program consisted of 3 first-level entries, 11 second-level entries and 32 third-level entries.Conclusions:The scheme constructed in this study is scientific, reliable and applicable, and is worth being promoted further in clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the curative effect of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation and ozone injection in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH) and its effect on the quality of life of patients.Methods 240 patients with LDH who were treated in Xining First People's Hospital from December 2015 to February 2017 were enrolled in the study.The patients were divided into low temperature plasma group (low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation therapy) and ozone injection group (ozone injection therapy) by random number table method,with 120 cases in each group.The operative indexes,complications,and visual analogue scale (VAS) score at different time points,numbness and muscle strength indexes and WHO quality of life scale (WHOQOL-BREF) score were compared between the two groups.The clinical efficacy was compared between patients with different image credit type in two groups.Results The operation time,hospitalization time and the cost of treatment in the ozone injection group were less than that of the low temperature plasma group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score and numbness score between the two groups at different time points (P > 0.05).The abdominal time and the supine crouch time in the low temperature plasma group in 3 months after operation were longer than those in the ozone injection group (P < 0.05).The excellent rate of the lateral type in low temperature plasma group in 3 months and 6 months after operation was higher than that in the ozone injection group (P <0.05).The physiological field score,psychological field score and total score in WHOQOL-BREF of low temperature plasma group in 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation were significantly higher than those of ozone injection group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusions Low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation has better effect in the treatment of lateral LDH,and it can improve lumbar and dorsal muscle strength and lumbar abdominal muscle strength more obviously,improve the quality of life of the patients,but the operation time and hospitalization time are longer,and the cost of treatment is higher.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the roles of TrkA and TrkB in radiation-induced hippocampal neurogenesis impairment.Methods Fifty-six rats were randomized into radiation group and sham control group.Radiation group received whole brain irradiation at a single dose of 10 Gy.The hippocampus were separated from rats in day 1,day 3,day 14 and 1 month after irradiation.Western blot and RT-PCR were applied to detect the protein levels and mRNA levels.Golgi staining was used to observe the dendritic spine of hippocampus.Immunofluorescence was performed to detect neural precursor's proliferation.Results Compared with control group,the numbers of dendritic spine significantly decreased after irradiation and its shape change obviously.Immunofluorescence showed a significant decrease in neural precursor's proliferation comparing with control group (t =6.49,P < 0.05).Protein level of TrkA expression increased (t =2.64,3.06,4.80,2.64,P < 0.05),while the levels of TrkB protein expression decreased significantly (t =4.59,3.06,2.81,2.57,P < 0.05).The mRNA level of TrkA expressions increased (t =4.57,3.06,5.39,5.86,P < 0.05),while the mRNA level of TrkB decreased (t =14.87,11.69,4.98,P < 0.05).Conclusions As a signaling pathways downstream of NGF and BDNF,TrkA and TrkB may play an important role in radiation-induced neurogenesis impairment.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the effects of various radiation doses on the NFAT3/c4 signaling pathway and the improvement effect of exogenous brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)on this pathway. Methods Four groups of one-month-old Sprague-Dawley rats received radiation doses of 0,2,10,and 20 Gy, respectively, in a single radiation. At three days after radiation, exogenous BDNF was injected stereotaxically into the bilateral hippocampus. Western blotting and RT-PCR were used to assess the levels of NFAT3/c4-related proteins in the hippocampus. Results The results of Western blotting and RT-PCR showed that the level of NFAT3/c4 was reduced in a dose-and time-dependent manner after ionizing radiation. Compared with the radiation alone group,the ionizing radiation plus BDNF group had significantly increased levels of NFAT3/c4 and CaN with increases in radiation dose and time. Conclusions Whole brain radiotherapy inhibits the CaN/NFAT3/c4 signaling pathway. Exogenous BDNF can promote the NFAT-dependent transcription and then improve the cognitive function.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the current situation and trend of narcotic drugs used in our hospital,and to provide refer-ence for scientific management and rational use of narcotic drugs. METHODS:The utilization of narcotic drugs in our hospital dur-ing 2013-2015 was analyzed statistically in terms of consumption sum,DDDs,DDC and B/A,etc. RESULTS:The consumption sum of narcotic drugs in our hospital increased year by year,mainly injection. Both consumption sum and DDDs of Sufentanil ci-trate injection took up the first place during 2013-2015,Morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets and Fentanyl citrate injec-tion took up 2nd and 3rd place in the list of DDDs. Top 3 drugs in the list of DDC were Oxycodone hydrochloride prolonged-re-lease tablets(40 mg),Remifentanil hydrochloride for infection(2 mg)and Sufentanil citrate injection. B/A of Sufentanil citrate in-jection,Morphine hydrochloride tablets and Oxycodone hydrochloride prolonged-release tablets(10 mg)were all close to 1.0, showing good synchronization of economic and social benefits. CONCLUSIONS:The consumption sum of narcotic drugs in our hospital has increased year by year. The utilization and management of narcotic drugs is basically in line with related standard and treatment criteria,but the management of narcotic drugs still need to be strengthened in the future.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the characteristics and general rule of ADR induced by Ginkgo leaf extract and dipyri-damole injection,and to provide reference for clinical rational drug use. METHODS:UsingGinkgo leaf extract and dipyridamole injectionADRas subject,the journal articles were retrieved from CJFD during Jan. 1st,2005-Jun. 28th,2016,and then ana-lyzed statistically in respects of gender,age,primary disease,allergic disease,drug use,occurrence time of ADR,organs/systems involved and clinical manifestations. RESULTS:A total of 14 valid articles had been collected,involving 727 patients in total. Meanwhile,female was more than male(57.63% vs. 42.37%)and most of them aged more than 50 years;primary diseases were mainly thromboembolic disease and coronary heart disease;most of ADR happened within 30 min after medication (268 cases, 36.86%). Organs/systems involved in ADR were mainly nervous system (254 cases,28.60%),followed by skin and its appen-dants(228 cases,25.68%),digestive system(187 cases,21.06%);severe ADR could cause anaphylactic shock. There were 18 cases of new severe ADR (2.48%);all ADR cases were recovered,and no death occurred. CONCLUSIONS:It is suggested to strictly control indications,differential diagnosis and treatment,rational drug use,close monitoring through the whole process, maintain a high level of awareness to ADR.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effects of low dose radiation on dendritic growth of newborn neurons in the hippocampus of young rat.Methods One month-old male rats were randomized into radiation group aind sham control group.Radiation group received whole brain irradiation at a single dose of 2 Gy.Retrovirus expressing green fluorescent protein (GFP) was used to label newborn neurons in the hippocampus through stereotaxic intracranial infusion.Immunofluorescence assays were performed to detect dendritic architecture alterations induced by irradiation at different time points.Results Compared with control group,the lengths of total dendrite and the longest dendrite significantly decreased at 2 and 4 weeks after irradiation (t =3.10,2.07,2.94,4.02,P < 0.05).The branching points of new born neurons were also decreased significantly at 2 weeks post irradiation (t =2.23,P < 0.05).The number of new born neurons reduced at 4 weeks post irradiation (t =8.43,P < 0.05).Conclusions Low dose radiation could inhibit newborn neuron growth in the hippocampus of young rat,which may be one of the most important mechanisms involved in radiation-induced cognitive impairment.

ABSTRACT

To develop a specific, rapid and convenient method based on molecular motor biosensor to detect food-borne rotavirus. A specific probe was encompassed the conservative region of rotavirus's VP7 segment, and a molecular motor detect device was constructed by connecting probes to F0F1-ATPase molecular motor through biotin-streptavidin system. This biosensor's sensitivity was 0.005 ng/mL for rotavirus RNA. Extracted virus RNA was conjugated with the biosensor separately, at the same time ATP was synthesized. By comparing fluorescence intensity, we can detect rotavirus RNA in samples. This method possessed specificity for rotavirus, without any cross-reaction with Hepatitis A virus and noroviris, and it could be accomplished within 1 h. We detected 15 samples using this method and the results were compared with RT-PCR results. This method is sensitive and specific for rotavirus, and it can be used to detect food-borne rotavirus.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To develop a multiplex PCR method used to fast diagnose pathogenic fungi of fungal rhinosinusitis.@*METHOD@#Three pairs of primers (universal fungus-specific primers, aspergillus specific primers, mucor specific primers)were used to establish multiplex PCR system. Detected six important medical fungi species strains to examine the applicability of the system and explore the optimum conditions. Multiplex PCR system was also used to identify pathogenic fungi of fungal rhinosinusitis, and used to compare the sensitivity with fungal culture.@*RESULT@#Three pairs of primers of the multiplex PCR system had high versatility and specificity, and could amplify the corresponding DNA fragments in the appropriate conditions. Sensitivity of the reaction system was 10 microg/L. Twenty clinical specimens of fungal sinusitis were tested by fungal culture and the multiplex PCR system, 7 (35%) cases were culture positive whereas 15 (75%) cases were positive by the multiplex PCR system, the difference was statistically significant between the two methods (P < 0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#The multiplex PCR system was proved to be a rapid, sensitive and specific technology, it could be used to detect and identify clinical pathogenic fungi of fungal rhinosinusitis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the incidence of adverse reaction,clinical manifestation and serious degree of adverse reaction and the intravenous injection time of the two different drugs,and provide references for the safe dosage of the drugs in clinic.Methods 200 patients from June 2009 to June 2010,who visited department of dermatology because of allergic dermatitis were chosen.They were randomly divided into the sodium thiosulfate group and the calcium gluconate group according to the drugs which were injected intravenouly.And incidence of adverse reaction,clinical manifestation and serious degree of adverse reaction and the intravenous injection time were compared between two groups.Results Compared with the calcium gluconate group,the rate of the adverse reaction of the sodium thiosulfate group is lower,and the average time needed is shorter,in addition,there is no serious adverse reaction during injection.Conclusions Intravenous injection of sodium thiosulfate has the advantage of lower incidence of adverse reaction,shorter time needed,and fewer serious adverse reaction,which is worthy of wide spread.

ABSTRACT

Objective To summarize the published studies of diabetic cerebral infarction treated by integration of traditional and western medicine (ITWM) or pure western medicine and compare their clinical curative effects. Method The clinical study of ITWM for diabetic cerebral infarction were collected and seleted according to the standard. The effect of ITWM and only western medicine was compared, and Meta-analysis was made. Result 59 studies were included to analysis neurological deficit and the total efficiency. Meta-analysis revealed that the improvement of ITWM is better than pure western medicine treatment. Conclusion The existed limited evidences suggest that ITWM treatment of diabetic cerebral infarction can significantly improve neurological deficit and curative effect. More high-quality randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials are needed to confirm the efficacy and safety of ITWM treatment of diabetic cerebral infarction.
